The war in Liberia has come and gone. Its spill over effect on Sierra Leone has been remedied too. But one issue still lingers today – after almost a decade – linking several countries to these conflicts: the trial of the former Liberian leader, Mr. Charles Taylor.
In RULE 60 by Olusegun Ogundeji, the book chronicled a deliberation among some West Africans as they dilate on issues of perceived inconsistencies in the trial, the incompetence of the media to cover the trial effectively, westernization of the trial and how this is affecting the region’s integration effort.
